It is time to stop feeling helpless and demand excellence from ourselves and our government... I want true leadership with realistic plans instead of sound bites and speeches... I want tangible results instead of generic talking points and spin... I want to see action instead of photo op appearances... I want to believe our politicians are doing what is best for our country, not just elitists making decisions to insulate themselves and maintain their power base. I want to see effective leadership that inspires with true integrity, passion, and accountability. I Want A Better Choice No more politix as usual The Lesser of Two Evils Voting for the lesser of two evils has become a political reality. It seems every election comes down to career politicians chosen by parties entrenched in a broken system. Issue after issue, the actions of both parties reveal a disconnect between the ruling class versus the needs of the people they were elected to represent. Many leaders have forsaken the ideals of ‘We The People’...in favor of ‘We the Chosen’. Both parties selling us out to gain their own power. I believe in the ideals our government was founded on; however, I do not believe my voice is being heard... nor my vote taken seriously. I have seen enough of politicians with their own agenda... benefiting only themselves, lobbyists, and the corporations that keep them in office. I have had enough of the endless blame game. The constant dance of both parties playing us against each other based on our differences - instead of bringing us together under the banner of our common goals. That is not leadership...that is maintaining power with a ‘divide and conquer’ mentality...yielding only the chaos of the status quo.
